Coached Online Program: 19 August – 16 September 2025
Many humanitarian professionals can describe their project activities but struggle to explain HOW these lead to lasting change. This 5-week program provides the practical foundation needed to map causal pathways, test critical assumptions, and design interventions that achieve measurable change – increasingly required by donors and essential for competitive proposals.
What Past Participants Say
“The course gave me the tools to redesign our education program’s logic model. We identified three critical assumptions we’d been missing, which helped us secure additional funding by demonstrating clearer impact pathways.” – Program Manager, International Education NGO
“I finally understand how to map backwards from desired outcomes rather than just listing activities. The individual feedback on my ToC draft was invaluable – I’ve already applied the revisions to two new proposals.” – M&E Coordinator, Local Development Organization
What You’ll Master:
- How to design clear causal pathways that connect activities to outcomes and demonstrate impact to donors
- Assumption testing methods that identify hidden risks and improve project design before implementation
- Participatory ToC development that meaningfully incorporates community voices despite time and resource constraints
- Integration strategies to align Theory of Change with logframes, results chains, and existing M&E systems
Ideal for professionals who:
- Need to articulate project logic for proposals but lack a systematic approach
- Face challenges explaining how activities lead to sustainable change
- Work with complex interventions where simple logframes fall short
- Want to strengthen monitoring and evaluation through clearer outcome mapping
